All instruments in the comprehensive range are handcrafted according to the concept of Thomas Böhme in our German GEWA master workshops.
The sound begins in the wood.
The back and sides are made of hand-selected European maple, and are complemented by a top made of European spruce, carefully crafted to tone.
The open-pored spirit-based hand varnish favours excellent response in playing and gives each instrument an impressively simple elegance.
The Germania series from GEWA Made In Germany includes violins, violas, cellos and double basses in different sizes and up to four different varnishes.
