The medium-thickness, single-ply Mylar® foils of the heads, with an additional 5mil foil dot in the middle, produce a focused tone with pronounced midrange frequency components and clearly defined attack.
While the outer areas of the heads offer more sensitivity and tone, the centre dot brings a significant increase in stability and overtone control.
REMO®-Controlled Sound® heads are ideal for medium to loud playing styles, both live and in the studio. They fit especially well with musical styles such as pop, funk, rock and heavy rock.
