The medium-strong, single-ply Mylar® foils of REMO Powerstroke®P3 produce a focused and warm tone with pronounced mid and low frequency components and a clearly defined, bright attack.
The additional inlay ring dampens bothersome overtones and shortens the sustain. This results in a fast and clear response, which is directly followed by a warm sustain. The perfect balance between response and tonal control.
Already played on toms and snares, the clear and coated heads of the Powerstroke®P3 series are extremely versatile and popular. As bass drum heads, however, they have long been a real classic. It is not for nothing that, in addition to the comprehensive assortment of Clear and Coated models, there are numerous variants in this line that are specifically aimed at the bass sound.
