These Solo Bass strings, developed in the mid-1970s, are exceptional: very similar to the legendary Swing Bass but somewhat quieter, they are not ground in the so-called pressurewound process, but are rolled by machine at high pressure after manufacture.

This process preserves the original mass of the strings and also the coveted brilliance. The pleasant “LINEA” surface ensures less finger noise, reduces fret wear and is ideal on fretless basses or for recording use in the studio.
